Overview
This 1 IN by 100 FT blue coil of cross-linked polyethylene tubing manufactured without an oxygen barrier is used for potable water applications. WaterPEX (TM) is connected to manifolds or barbed fittings using CrimpRing (TM) fittings (ductile copper CrimpRing (TM) compressed over WaterPEX CrimpRing fitting) or stainless steel CinchClamps (TM). The maximum working pressure ranges from 160 psi at 73.4 degrees F (11 bar at 23 degrees C) to 80 psi at 200 degrees F (5.5 bar at 93 degrees C).
